Interwoven Orange
Interwove Orange is another unique pillow/cushion cover from my Interwoven series.
This cover started life as a piece of unprimed artist's cotton canvas. I hand printed various shapes onto the canvas using acrylic paint. I then ripped the canvas into strips and wove them back together adding in random pieces of velvet ribbon and hand dyed silk organza. This weaving was then randomly machine stitched onto a calico backing to form this lush and luxurious cushion cover.
The back is made from sturdy unprimed artist's cotton canvas with a zip closure
This pillow cover is designed to fit 16"/40cm pillow/cushion insert.
Please visit my Etsy store for more covers from this series.

Decluttering my world
I've been missing in action for some time now. I got to the stage where my creativity had deserted me and I felt overwhelmed by all the stuff in my home so I got serious and have been spending the last few months decluttering my life.
With the help of eBay I've sold loads of things from a saxophone to fabric, paints, wool and everything else I felt I no longer needed, wanted or was just plain weighing me down and now I feel ready to start afresh.
As I was going through my fabric stash I came across some great fabrics that I'd bought without any real idea of what I was going to with them (as you do!) but now I knew exactly what I wanted to create - CUSHIONS!!!
Well, cushion covers anyway. So now that I've made a heap of them, it's time that I started to pass them on to new homes where they'll be loved and used (except for the couple that I've kept for myself). They're all listed in my etsy store so please check them out.
Here's a couple of gorgeous patchwork ones that I've created using vintage fabrics, ribbons and trims from L'ucello in Melbourne (fab store).
Please keep checking back as I'll keep showcasing more great covers.
