Thank you to all the fabulous comments - lots of food for thought there while I decide what I want to achieve in 2012.
As an additional thank you to all those who entered, I am offering a 21% discount for all purchases from my etsy store until next Saturday, 24 December (Australia time). I've chosen 21% as that's the number of wonderful comments I received. I will email each of you with further details. If you don't receive an email, please contact me for the discount code.
Welcome to my post for Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day. To be in the running for the spectacular pillow pictured below is so simple. All you need to do is leave a comment for this post and to make things interesting, let me know what you'd like to achieve in 2012. I don't call them resolutions (they're made to be broken) - it could be finally losing that pesky 5 pounds that simply won't shift to finally decluttering the junk drawer in the kitchen to oh, I don't know, perhaps world peace.
Winner will be drawn randomly on 16 December (US time) / 17 December (Australia time). International entries welcome.
This cute little pillow measures 11" x 8" / 28cm x 20cm and is made from digitally printed canvas using a photo I manipulated in PhotoShop although I've manipulated it so well I can't remember what the image originally was!! I love the effect created and the metallic silver adds a bit of zing.
I added in a frill of hand dyed silk organza embellised with a metallic print for extra texture.
The pillow has a purple striped cotton back and is stuffed with polyester toy fill.
Please check out my etsy store for more of these great little accent pillows.
Am I really the first? Lucky me! I want too improve my free motion skills!!! Thank your for offering such a beautiful piece, It is nice too meet you, Kim C
